Will LeadMarina create duplicate Leads in my Close organization?+
Not from its own exports. Every delivery is matched on a stable Google business identifier, so re-running a search or letting a schedule repeat updates the same Leads in place with the latest data. Leads you added earlier by hand or CSV aren't matched by that identifier — if you suspect overlap with an old list, Close's built-in duplicate detection and lead-merge tools are the cleanup path.
Do I have to create Custom Fields in Close before exporting?+
No. On your first export, LeadMarina maps native fields to Close built-ins and automatically creates Custom Fields for everything else — verification labels, line types, carriers, owner name, socials, ratings, reviews — named after its columns. Every Close plan includes 250 Custom Fields, so there's room alongside your existing setup.
Will exports overwrite my notes, activities, or my own Custom Fields?+
Never. LeadMarina only writes to the fields it delivers. Notes, activities, and Custom Fields you created yourself are untouched on every update. The Contact LeadMarina creates under each Lead is write-once, too — it's never modified after delivery.
Can I use the phone line-type data with Close's Power Dialer?+
Yes — that's the intended workflow. Build a Smart View filtered to the line-type field set to mobile, then start a Power Dialer session on it. The dialer re-checks the Smart View as new leads arrive, so scheduled deliveries feed live calling sessions. (Close's Power Dialer requires its Growth or Scale plan.)
How is this different from importing a CSV with Close's Lead Importer?+
No file formatting — no semicolons to pack multiple values into one field, no yyyy-mm-dd dates or + country-code prefixes, no 15MB splits — and no comparison-field decisions on every update. LeadMarina's mapping is saved after the first export, deduplication is automatic via the Google business identifier, and searches can repeat on a schedule instead of being re-uploaded by hand.
What does a lead cost, and what do I get on the free plan?+
One lead equals one delivered, fully verified business — emails, phones, owner name where identifiable, socials, ratings, reviews, and the business profile all included. The free plan includes 100 leads; paid plans include 15,000, 65,000 or 240,000 leads per month, and Unlimited has no monthly quota at all — up to 210,000 leads a week.
