LeadMarina + Cursor

Verified local-business leads, one Agent prompt away.

Freelance developers and dev shops win local clients — the dentist who needs a site, the roofer whose Google listing is their only web presence. You already build in Cursor; now you can prospect there too. LeadMarina's MCP server gives Cursor's Agent seven tools for finding, filtering, and exporting local-business leads, so the same Agent that scaffolds a client's site can find the client.

Ask for a niche and a city — up to 30 cities in one bulk search of Google business listings data — and every delivered lead comes fully verified: up to 3 SMTP-checked emails labeled safe, risky, or invalid; up to 3 phones with line type and carrier; owner names where identifiable; socials, ratings, reviews, and the full business profile. One lead equals one delivered, fully verified business, and the free plan includes 100 of them.

What you get

Search from the Agent

Prompt Cursor's Agent with a niche and city. search_leads covers up to 30 cities in one bulk search of Google business listings data, and results land right in the conversation.

Every lead verified

Up to 3 emails SMTP-checked and labeled safe, risky, or invalid, plus up to 3 phones with line type — mobile, landline, VoIP, toll-free — and carrier. No raw scraped lists.

Owner names and socials

Owner name where identifiable, plus Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Yelp profiles, ratings, reviews, and the full business profile on every lead.

Export without leaving the editor

export_leads pushes results to Close, GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, or an emailed CSV, Excel, or JSON file — from the same Agent conversation that ran the search.

Updates in place, never duplicates

Exports match on a stable Google business identifier and update existing records. Your notes, activities, custom fields, rows, and formatting are never touched; GoHighLevel tags are additive-only.

Filter free, repeat on a schedule

query_leads re-slices delivered leads without spending your balance, and any search can repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly to any export destination — no Cursor session required.

How it works
  1. 01

    Add the server

Click the Add to Cursor button on the LeadMarina docs page (shown when you're signed in) and Cursor writes the config for you — or manually point .cursor/mcp.json (or ~/.cursor/mcp.json) at https://leadmarina.com/api/mcp. Cursor connects over streamable HTTP.

  2. 02

    Sign in once

Authenticate with OAuth 2.1 straight from Cursor — dynamic client registration means no client ID to configure — or pass a bearer API key in a header. Keys come with every plan, including free.

  3. 03

    Prompt the Agent

"Find HVAC companies in Phoenix." The Agent runs the search — with your approval on each tool call — and returns fully verified leads. Then follow up: "keep only the ones with safe emails," and query_leads makes the email-status cut after delivery, free.

  4. 04

    Export or automate

Send results to Close, GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, or an emailed file, then schedule the search to repeat — fresh leads update your CRM in place while you write code.

FAQ
How do I add LeadMarina to Cursor's mcp.json?+

Add an entry with "url": "https://leadmarina.com/api/mcp" under mcpServers in .cursor/mcp.json (project) or ~/.cursor/mcp.json (global) — or skip the file entirely and click the Add to Cursor button on the docs page when signed in. The server uses streamable HTTP, which Cursor supports natively; Cursor prompts you to sign in on first use.

Does it work with Cursor's MCP OAuth sign-in, or do I need an API key?+

Both work. LeadMarina implements OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, so Cursor's built-in sign-in flow works with zero configuration. Or set an Authorization: Bearer header with an API key — every plan, including free, issues one.

Which tools does Cursor's Agent get?+

Exactly seven: search_leads, get_search_results, enrich_domains, query_leads, export_leads, list_searches, and get_balance. They appear under Available Tools in Cursor Settings → MCP, and the Agent uses them automatically when relevant.

If a scheduled search re-runs, will I get duplicate contacts in Close or GoHighLevel?+

No. Every export matches on a stable Google business identifier and updates records in place. Your own notes, activities, custom fields, rows, and formatting are never modified, and GoHighLevel tags are additive-only.

Does asking the Agent to filter my leads again cost credits?+

No. query_leads is free and never touches the meter, and get_search_results retrieval is free too. You're metered only on delivery: 1 lead = 1 fully verified business. The free plan includes 100 leads; paid plans include 15,000, 65,000, or 240,000 per month.

Can I use LeadMarina from code instead of the Agent?+

Yes. The same account includes a REST API on every plan, authenticated with bearer API keys, so you can script searches and exports directly from your repo and keep the MCP server for interactive Agent work.
